Enveloped by towering pine trees at the edge of a natural peninsula, Hotel Pinija is reimagining itself and beckoning more and more event planners along the way. Thanks to its stunning new conference centre, it is transforming into a prominent meeting hotel capable of hosting up to 500 delegates. The new, modular and minimalist design implemented in the lobby and the wellness area is an augury of what is to come. Until then, business guests will have to compromise between the excellent event facilities and the design inconsistencies. The rooms hardly match the rather steep hotel price tag. To boot, the cuisines across the restaurants and bars largely fail to incorporate local dishes or staples.

Sustainability is a strong point for the hotel and deserves a more prominent place on its website and in its communication campaigns. Despite some drawbacks in design and gastronomy, the hotel is trodding a path that seems destined to succeed. In a few years, Hotel Pinija Zadar will become a holistic entity, suited to host the most demanding automotive launches, events and conferences in the embrace of the Adriatic and pine trees that lent the hotel its name.
