The selection process:

1. Independent evaluation – Each hotel, venue, or destination undergoes the Meetings Star Certification, ensuring an objective rating.

2. Hidden Congress Guest assessment – Hidden guests evaluate facilities based on real experiences.

3. Final Score calculation – Using a 681-criteria assessment matrix, venues receive a final rating based on measurable quality.

4. Sustainability & innovation review – Special awards are given to venues that exceed expectations in green practices and forward-thinking services.
