Kongres Magazine is once again opening the polls for the Most Influential People in New Europe's Meetings Industry and inviting you to take part in the annual selection.
Highlighting influencers who have made a significant impact, the 2024 edition marks the oldest and first selection of its kind. The criteria for selection are clearly defined, focusing on credibility, creativity, results, and legacy. This exclusive list, which has been recognized since 2014, offers the only comprehensive overview of "Who is Who" in the event industry, celebrating those who have consistently shaped and influenced the field.

Giving centre stage to the most influential people of New Europe’s meetings industry since 2014
You probably wouldn't go build a house without a professional builder and architect. This dilemma led us to prepare the first selection of the most influential people in 2014.
Our selection is not just another online voting that gives doubtable results. On the contrary, it is a thorough selection of individuals that have left their mark on the regional meetings industry. We hope you will find our list valuable the next time you organise your event. It is with pride that we can say that we have been able to create a credible list of the most trustworthy professional in 2022. Hence, our project is not a competition, rather a professional platform that we will continue evolving.
The selection has earned recognition from the international meetings industry due to the following reasons:
1. Kongres Magazine evaluates candidates beforehand through its partner network. All shortlisted candidates are, therefore, reviewed before the selection. Kongres Magazine’s final shortlist is, in a way, an overview of who is who in the industry.
2. With your assistance, we have developed various influencer categories that enable us to separate apples from pears and compare candidates.
3. We are democratic when creating the shortlist and meticulously check all your suggestions. If candidates meet our strict requirements, they are placed on the final list.
4. We have transparent and clear criteria that help us choose individuals. During this year, we have further improved them and added the criterion LinkedIn reach.
Announcement of the results
The voting will take place until 31 January 2025. The results will be announced at the award ceremony taking place on WEDNESDAY, 19 February 2025, at 18:30 in Cankarjev Dom in Ljubljana, as the concluding part of the Conventa trade show.
